Welcome to the Fifth edition of e-news for National Youth Week 2008.

National Youth Week – It’s on!

National Youth Week 2008 is finally here! Celebrate all week long from 5-13 April.

No matter where you live or what you’re interested in, there’s something for you this week. With loads of stuff happening across the country get involved in festivals, concerts, displays, exhibitions, sporting activities, debates and workshops.

National Talent Competitions close 14 April

The closing date for the National Talent Competition is fast approaching so don’t forget to get your entries in by 5.00pm (AEST) 14 April 2008.

Awesome prizes such as a $5,000 shopping voucher, digital video cameras and computer packages are up for grabs, so enter now for your chance to WIN!

From all the entries we receive, our judges will select a winner in each age and competition category to receive an Industry Award. They will then select another five entries in each age and competition category to be in the running for the People’s Choice Award. You’ll be able to check out the five finalists and vote for your favourite entry.

Online voting for the People’s Choice Awards will open in May. This is your chance to check out the creative talents of the finalists and have your say on who should win!

All winners will be announced on the National Youth Week website in June 2008.

Last chance to Win Free Stuff

Time is running out to get your hands on some cool free stuff with our Win Free Stuff Competitions! All you have to do is get online and answer a simple question associated with the prize you want to win. It’s so easy!

All NYW Win Free Stuff competitions close at 5pm EST on 14 April so make sure you get in quick. Winners will be announced on the National Youth Week website in June.
